KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 31

It's finally here!  My favorite holiday is here!  Happy Halloween!  It's been a whirlwind weekend of baking and crafting and a Halloween party so I'm just stopping in quickly to post my card for today: Day 31 of KennyK Stamps' 31 Days of Halloween!  We've been celebrating all month long over at Club KennyK on Facebook with mini challenges, contests, live coloring events, and more!

The fourth and final challenge theme is Something Wicked and I've colored up Hella Enchanta for it.

She is colored with Copics, of course.  Layering dies is what I do so here I've used Wrought Iron Fence, Spider Web Border, and Spider Web Corner (La-La-Land Crafts) as well as Labels One Nestabilities and Graveyard Scenes and Shapes Shapeabilities (Spellbinders).  The skull is a pre-cut die cut from my stash.  Also from my stash are the flowers, a bling flourish, and a Tim Holtz Skull and Crossbones.  The sentiment is from the new KennyK Stamps Halloween Sassy Sentiments.

Thank you for joining us for our month full of frightful fun and hope everyone has a magical day!

KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 8

Hello!  As predicted, the pressure to blog every day was too great and I succumbed to the dark side of the couch, BUT I will have more Halloween creations to share before the month is over and today is one of them.  At KennyK Stamps we are celebrating the 31 Days of Halloween!  A new theme has started over at Club KennyK on Facebook.  We'll announce a new one every Saturday and they run all month so there's plenty of time to play along!  Our theme this week is HALLOWEEN COLORS!  We're talking orange, black, purple, neon glowing green....

Since I LOVE Halloween I decided that I wanted to share the love and spread the frightful fun!  I selected Total Drama to make tags for some Been BOOed treats.  If you don't know what it means to get BOOed you can check out the tradition HERE or simple search for it on Pinterest where there are all sorts of fab-boo-lous ideas! I started the mischief at work with my co-workers, but you can also BOO your neighbors or friends!

The treat boxes and goodies are all from Target (my HAPPY place)!  Their Dollar Spot section is an awesome place to shop for inexpensive and fun holiday and seasonal items!  I added a pair of Halloween socks, a packet of Halloween tissues, a Halloween memo pad, candy, and those amazing blinged out pumpkins!  I made the clips with clothes pins and a pumpkin die (La-La-Land Crafts).

I printed and colored Total Drama 3 times then colored her to look like each recipient.  I then trimmed and matted my colored image onto the Jumbo Fishtail Flags Die-namics (My Favorite Things).  The black layer is embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug).  I also added a BOO banner (La-La-Land Crafts).  The sentiment I created myself.

BOO treats are supposed to be anonymous, but I was busted no thanks to my craftiness!  LOL  Thank you for taking a peek and I hope that maybe you've been inspired to do a Halloween RAK!  Don't forget to visit KennyK Stamps at Club KennyK!  Entries for the challenges do not have to be Halloween related but they must follow the theme. And there are some wicked prizes up for grabs!

Have a wonderful weekend!

KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 2

Hi there!  I was inspired to make another project for KennyK Stamps' 31 Days of Halloween!  I remember the days when I used to blog every day of October....  It was a whirlwind of Halloween crazy!  Can I do it again?  Probably not.  But I'm already ahead of last year's posts which were, um, zero!

Our theme this week is Sentiments and I decided instead of a card that I wanted to make an altered item.  I took a chalkboard I bought from Target's Dollar Spot (that little section jammed packed with seasonal merchandise when you first walk in the door) and turned it into a decoration for my favorite holiday.

I colored up Book of Spells and fussy cut her.  The rest was done with  dies, flowers, and a piece of white chalk.  The flourish is a Magnolia Doo-hickey.  Pumpkins, Spiderweb Corner, Spiderweb, and Large Lacy Border are all from La-La-Land Crafts.  The Crescent Moon and Mini Apothecary Bottles are Tim Holtz (Sizzix).  And the witch's hat and cauldron come from a set called Witches' Brew Shapeabilities (Spellbinders).  A quote from my favorite Halloween movie completes the project!

Join us over at Club KennyK all month long for all the festivities!  All Halloween digis are on sale too!  Want the code?  Visit the Club on Facebook!  You'll find us HERE!

KennyK Stamps 31 Days of Halloween: Day 1

Happy October 1st!!!  My favorite month is finally here!  It's the most wonderful time of the year!  Halloween is only 30 days away and we are celebrating at KennyK Stamps' Club KennyK Facebook group!

Join us for 4 mini challenges, prizes, coloring party, live coloring videos, and more!  Our first challenge begins today and I'm here to kick it off with a card featuring Foxy Mama!  I wanted to make her into a witch so I borrowed Spell Caster's hat and fussy cut both after coloring them with Copics.

Our theme this week is Sentiments!  I took the challenge even further and decided to create my own!  I am no graphic designer -yet - but I was pretty pleased with how they turned out!  I am sharing two of them with our fans over at Club KennyK so if you're not a member, come join us!

Ok, back to my card!  I used a few of dies, of course...  The mat behind the image was made with Classic Ovals and Floral Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders).  I matted my sentiment with Fleur De Lis Squares Nestabilities (Spellbinders).  The crow is from also from Spellbinders, a set called Halloween Fence Scenes and Shapes Shapeabilities.   Wrought Iron Fence, Spider Web border, and Dress Form are all from La-La-Land Crafts.  The big Spider Web is by Cheery Lynn Designs.

A couple of flowers, a bling flourish, and a Tim Holtz broom are my finishing touches!  Come join us for some spooky fun all month long!  And the great news is if Halloween isn't your cup of pumpkin spice latte, you can enter with any KennyK Stamps creation as long as you follow the theme!  Happy crafting and have a fab-boo-lous day!
