Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!!! My favorite holiday has arrived! Sadly, a freak autumn snowstorm that dumped a foot of snow in my area and cause wide spread power outages has resulted in the re-scheduling of trick or treating! I didn't even know they could do that! Santa had better watch out... No one is safe! So we will now be celebrating on Friday. It is disappointing to me, but thankfully my small man isn't old enough yet to understand so he won't be upset by it. I plan to spend this evening with my parents, and we may dress him up and parade him down their street to the neighbors anyway. He is going to be the cutest Frankenstein ever! lol

I have my last couple of Halloween cards to share with you. One for his dad, the other for my parents. The first is the one I made for his father. As some of you know, we have a mostly cordial relationship, that had hit a bit of a rough patch the past six months or so. Things will never go back to what they were, but a new acceptance has emerged and it has been peaceful again for a few weeks now. I have always wanted to be the kind of co-parents who could sit next to each other at their kid's soccer game and talk, be friendly & warm to each other, and be genuine about it. Maybe one day all the hurt and the bad feelings will heal, but in the meantime, this small gesture was what I could do to let him know that despite it all he has his son's love and my respect as his dad. Soon enough our little guy will be signing the cards himself. I used a Luka image from La-La Land Crafts because he reminds me SO much of my son. He is dressed in a skeleton Halloween costume and is just too cute to spook! And I couldn't resist a little playful jab with the sentiment. That gem is from Graphicats Designs. Papers are My Mind's Eye and the sketch is courtesy of priscillastyles Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (MMSC127).

My last Halloween card of the year is for my parents. I selected FrankenJude from Simply Betty Stamps. He was a freebie she offered on her Paper Craft Planet group a few weeks back, and I was all too happy to make him mine! Since my son is dressing up as Frankie this year, I thought this was the perfect image to use for a card to his grandparents. I again used the humorous Graphicat Designs sentiment and the sketch is from Sketches by Carly (#43). Papers are Recollections from Michaels and the whole pack cost me $2.50! I love when I find an awesome bargain! And of course, the trusty Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch makes an appearance on BOTH cards! I have to say that was probably one of the best crafty purchases I've made! lol

I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween creations as much as I have enjoyed making them! All together I believe I churned out over two dozen Halloween cards since August! I hope your day is frightfully fun today and happy haunting! Though it will be an unusual Halloween here, we will still enjoy it regardless! (Maybe more than I thought as I am unsure if I have to go to work or not... My place of employment had no power last I heard. Wouldn't THAT be a nice treat! lol) Thanks for visiting today!

The Corrosive Challenge #136 - With a Flourish

I know Halloween is tomorrow (and I still have cards to make), but since we're in the middle of a freak autumn Nor'easter here that is supposed to dump a foot of snow on us this weekend, I thought I'd make a wintry card for the new Corrosive Challenge. Our theme for this fortnight is "With a Flourish". That means we want to see you incorporate a flourish into your project. It can be die cut, chipboard, sticker, bling, stamp, paper, whatever. The type of flourish is yours to decide! I opted for bling since it is one of go-to embellishments. My gorgeous angel image is courtesy of one of our fabulous sponsors for this month, Karen's Doodles. Isn't she pretty? She is paired with some designer paper from Stampin' Up.

You would think being snowed in I would have gotten a lot of crafting done... Not the case. I spent a majority of yesterday on the couch watching TV or playing with the small man. It was nice to just relax and watch the snow swirl around outside. There is always something magical about the first snow fall, even if it could put a crick in our trick or treating plans for Monday! Welcome to New England! lol

I hope to get some crafting and baking done today. I also plan to make my home-made stuffed shells for dinner. It might be a bit ambitious, though, as I'm sure I will spend some serious time shoveling later today. My son has new boots and snow pants, both acquired just this past week, so we will get bundled up to brave the elements.

Be sure to stop over at The Corrosive Challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team has to show you in way of inspiration and, of course, to play along. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges #43 - Photo Inspiration: Halloween

Hello! So sorry for the late post! I keep taking my procrastination to an all new level and then bIogger was giving me some issues! It's been a busy week with Halloween fast approaching! I've done a bit of baking - creepy finger sugar cookies for my small man's day care, chocolate chip cookies for home, and pumpkin bread for work. But here I am to tell you about a fabulous new challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges! This week it's a photo inspiration! We hope the creep-tastic photo below inspires you to play along!

As you can see I decided to use the Halloween angle. Oh, big surprise there, right? lol I needed a card for my son's day care provider and chose Lil Haunt Frankie Frankenstein as my image. The sentiment, which made her laugh, is a gem from Cheri's wickedly witty Graphicat Designs shop! I also visited her sketch challenge blog, Graphicat Sketches, and used her sketch for the month, October's Frightfull of Layers, as my layout. The designer pap ers are from The Apothecary Emporium pad by Echo Park. Frankie is colored with my usual combination of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. I used a couple of my Nestabilities dies and added fun creepy cloth, striped ribbon, brads, a couple of flowers, and one big glittery spider to complete my card.

Pop on over to the Tickled Pink Challenge blog to see what the rest of the lovely {PINK} design team ladies have created. And to join in the fun! You could win a Tickled Pink Stamps digital stamp of your choice! REMEMBER, you MUST use a Tickled Pink Stamps image to participate. These include the following collections: Lil Lolitas and Lil Lads, Lil Pinkettes, Pink Pets, and Cherrie. They can all be found in the TPS shop here. Owner Kellie is currently away on holiday (on a cruise, that lucky gal!) but shipping will resume at the end of the month when she returns. Also, through the end of October, all digital images are available in the shop so snag yours while you can or wait until November's Digi Week to get them!

Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!

Sassy Studio Designs Sponsorship: The Crazy Challenge - Scary Ladies

I just need to tell you that it is a small miracle the above photo is posted. Blogger has all of a sudden decided that I can't upload pictures from my computer. And with THE least user friendly help around, it took me over an hour of frustrated searching to find a less than perfect solution. I am able to use my Picasa albums to "blog this". Basically, it will upload the photo into a new post which I can then save as a draft and edit as I normally would. However, this will not help me when I need to add photos to an existing post! I am irritated and tired so will ponder that problem tomorrow.

For now, let's talk about my card and the super cool Halloween-y challenge Sassy Studio Designs is currently sponsoring over at The Crazy Challenge! It's all about "Scary Ladies"! There is also an optional sketch portion to the challenge, which I wasn't aware of. I opted to work with Sassy Bride of Frankenstein. The card is a request I received for a birthday card for a co-worker's wife this weekend. The inside sentiment says "Have a Monster of a Birthday". My layout is pretty simple, allowing my image the spotlight. I added some black lace, flowers, and a black rhinestone bling flourish. Her hair was fun to color and I love the look of the white gel pen lines!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll head over to The Crazy Challenge to play along for your chance to win 4 Sassy Studio Designs images of your choice!

Celebrating 500 - Sassy Steampunk Progressive Challenge #4

I cannot believe the excitement that has surrounded Sassy Studio Designs' Sassy Steampunk Progressive Relay! As a way to celebrate achieving 500 plus members in our Paper Craft Planet group we decided to throw another party. Yes, I know we just recognized 400 with a big masquerade ball, but we grew quickly and were so thrilled to see so many new faces that we wanted to do it all over again. Only different. So Lindsay, the illustrious artist/owner behind SSD, created a brand new collection of Sassy Steampunk gals JUST for the occasion! These ladies have never been seen before and those of you who collected all 4 images for free deserve a big round of applause! We started with 40 participants and 34 earned all 4 images! There have been freebies on Paper Craft Planet as well, and there will be more today so be sure to check it out! All week has been a flurry of freebies, games, and prizes, and now it all culminates today!

This brings us to our 4th and final image and challenge. This is Steampunk Vivian! Isn't she something?! The challenge for the 34 crafters who made it through the first 3 rounds of challenges is Anything Goes, using Steampunk Vivian as their image. They have until Sunday to complete their project and link it on the SSD blog for a chance to win 4 images from the November release a week before they hit the store and a chance to be our guest designer for the day! Pretty cool, huh?

My card uses this week's Deconstructed Sketch (#24) and features Tim Holtz hardware, bling, and flowers. Vivian is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. True to form, I procrastinated until the 11th hour with this and was rushed to finish it and get both blog posts up in time. I didn't make it with mine, but I'm close so I hope you'll forgive me.

I want to thank everyone who joined us this week! It has been beyond fantastic chatting with you and seeing your creations! Thank you for supporting Sassy Studio Designs and for making our 500th member celebration such a smashing success!

Head over to the SSD blog to see what the design team dreamed up with these four Sassy ladies, and while your there take a look at the participants creations too! They are all amazing! Stop by PCP today as well for the Sassy Steampunk party! There will be freebies, games, and prizes continuing! What a week long whirlwind this has been! And I couldn't be more pleased! Or tired! lol Okay, off to bed for me now. Hope to chat with many of you on Paper Craft Planet later today!

On The Third Day of Halloween...

My true love gave to me 3 black cats! Cool! lol Welcome to a very special blog post! I was asked to be a guest designer for the day at Simply Betty Stamps for their 12 Days of Halloween event! Here I am on Day 3 to show you my creation! Yes, I missed days 1 and 2, but the fabulous thing is I can go back and complete them at any time before October 30th! Each day has a place to link your project when you complete the challenge. And there are some amazing prizes up for grabs! There is a daily prize, all to be announced on November 5th, along with several winners of the overall challenge. And get this, one person, the best of the best, who enters all 12 challenges will be chosen to be part of the Simply Betty Stamps design team for 2012!!! I don't know about you, but that sounds like an AWESOME prize to me!!! So in case you're like me and need to do some catching up....

On the third Day of Halloween
my true love gave to me...
3 black cats
2 trick or treaters
and an owl in a rotten oak tree!

For my card today, I selected Lydia the Living Dead Girl from the fabulous Steampunk Halloween collection at Simply Betty Stamps! I LOVE these images, and she was so much fun to work with! My image is colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers and then the edges and around the image were sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. I also tried what I like to refer to as some "deconstructed doodling" since the fabulous Jen Shultz of Decontrusting Jen (and The Deconstructed Sketch) is so fond of it. I have to say I was a little nervous taking a pen to my already colored image panel, but I really like the way it turned out! Since I needed "3 black cats" I added two brads with black cats and the word "hiss" on them to keep Miss Lydia's feline company. I also used a black glittered chipboard number 3 and the word "BOO" on the card. My papers are the from the gorgeous Authentique - Glowing pad. and I used my Martha Stewart spider web border punch and some Recollections flowers from Michaels to dress up this week's fantastic sketch from the afore-mentioned Deconstructed Sketch (#23). Ms Jen also happened to be the special guest designer for Day 2 so check out her gorgeous card here.

I hope you'll pop over to the Simply Betty Stamps blog to see all the creep-tastic Halloween projects the design team has created for this sppok-tacular event! Just like Betty, Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I was beyond thrilled to be invited to participate! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

The Corrosive Challenge #135 - Flying Things

It is time for another Corrosive Challenge! I am thrilled to tell you about our newest theme! But bear with me as I have not yet been to bed. From Saturday. Between caring for my sick small man and my design team commitments it has been a weekend of little sleep. I'll try to keep this brief as my pillow is calling to me!

The challenge for this fortnight is "Flying Things"! As long as it takes to the sky it qualifies for this challenge - bat, bird, witch, plane, fairy, butterfly, balloon, kite.... The choice is up to you! We have two fabulous sponsors this month - Doodle Pantry and Karen's Doodles! I have the pleasure of using a fun image from Karen's Doodles today! She is called Birthday Fairy and I thought she was perfect for a card for a girlfriend. I paired her with some designer paper and flowers all from Michaels' Recollections line and added a touch of tulle and a few adhesive pearls. My image is colored with my usual combo of Copics and Prismas, cut out with a Nesties Label die and the edges sponged. The layout is courtesy of Sketches by Carly (#42). If you remember from last time, she is the amazing 12 year old girl who runs her own fabulous challenge blog with the help of her crafty mom, Kristine! I did rotate the sketch as it worked better this way with my image.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation! Be sure to stop by The Corrosive Challenge blog to see what the rest of the wonderful design team has created for this fun theme! Have a fantastic day!

Sassy Studio Designs Halloween II Blog Hop

I love my mummy! I mean, who wouldn't? Look at how cute this Sassy Honey is! Welcome to the blog hop for Sassy Studio Designs' Halloween II release! Yes, I know... it sounds like a horror movie sequel, but really it's just a frightfully fun and fabulous collection of cute and creepy Little Honeys! Owner/artist Lindsay has outdone herself again, and we want to celebrate! We have a blog hop, a challenge, prizes, and a party blog chat with the newly expanded design team all lined up for you! So if you arrived here from Julie's blog, you're on the right track for the hop. If not, you may want to go back to the beginning at the Sassy Studio Designs blog and start there. Here is the complete hop order, just in case you get lost:

Be sure to leave some comments as you go. Two random comments will be chosen to receive one of the new images! But you won't know from which blog so you'll just have to leave love for all of us! lol

We also have a spook-tacular challenge for you this time! I have even played along with my card above. My image is called Mummy Honey, and she is now available in the Sassy Studio Designs online store! Rebecca, our phenomenal party planner, has asked us to make a Halloween themed creation, choosing 5 of the creep-tastic items from the list below:

1.Bats
2.Pumpkins
3.Ghosts
4.Ribbon
5.Glitter
6.Brads
7.Gems
8.Skeleton
9.Gravestone
10.Candy
11.Skull
12.Blood
13.Spider
14.Cauldron
15.Cobwebs

You will have 5 days to play along. When you have your project ready, simply head over to the Sassy Studio Designs blog and link your creation using the InLinks thingamajiggy. The winner will receive 3 images from the new Halloween II release! Can you guess which 5 items I used? Do you see them? (Cobwebs, glitter, gems, brads, and blood, the latter courtesy of my Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch!)

Don't forget to stop by the Sassy Studio Designs Party Blog tonight! The design team will be chatting online starting at 7pm PDT (that's 10pm for those of us on the East coast).

As many of you know, Halloween is my favorite holiday! So it might surprise you that neither myself nor my son have costumes yet with Halloween only 2 weeks away. Well, I think today is the day they need to be bought/ordered! We have a party to go to next weekend and then of course trick or treating on Halloween. I am thinking of doing a mommy/son costume. He's only two, and next year he may actually have an opinion about what he wears! lol So this year I was thinking classic horror Halloween with me as the Bride of Frankenstein and my small man as Frankie himself! What do you think?

Okay, I've kept you long enough! Off you go to see the next treat over on Kate's blog! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Halloween!

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #41 - White on White

Hello! This is going to be a super short post. It has been a crazy week here! My poor small has been sick! First with croup on Friday then with hand, foot, and mouth disease. Both caused him to run high temps! Two nights in a row now he's had the chills! My poor baby! He went to the doctor's for each so I feel reassured, but it's so hard when he's sick! I was able to stay home with him two days this week, but now I have to work today so he'll be going with his father. Hopefully today will see him feeling better, and either way I'll be ready to cuddle with him when we both get home!

So needless to say, there hasn't been a lot of crafting going on, but I did manage to get one done late last night. Here is my card for the new Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge! This week's theme is "White on White". The only part that can have color is your image. And remember, it MUST be a Tickled Pink Stamps image (found here) in order to play along. I have used one of the new Breast Cancer Awareness images that fabulous, generous own Kellie released this month! There are 3 images and a sentiment set (digis only) all for only $1 each! All proceeds from their sales will be going to charity. So print off or ink up a Lil Lolita, a Lil Lad, a Lil Pinkette, a Pink Pet, or a Cherrie and play along for a chance to win 1 digital image of your choice! I embossed two of my panels and used my Martha Stewart Doily Lace border punch on another to give my card some texture. I also added adhesive pearls, flowers (oops, maybe the hint of green from the leaves is cheating a bit! lol), and some pearl-topped pins, all from my stash. Lilith is colored using Copics, and the layout is courtesy of Sketch n Stash (#72).

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges blog to see what the rest of the fabuolously talented {PINK} ladies have created for this challenge! I hope it inspires you to join in the fun!

Have a wonderful day!

Sassy Studio Designs Sneak Peek Week Day 1 - Medusa Honey

The ability to turn men to stone... Oooo, don't I sometimes WISH I had that power! Well, this stone cold fox (er, snake?) does! Medusa may be a serpentine menace to men, but as a Sassy Studio Designs Little Honey she is nothing short of enchanting! This mythical creature is a sneak peek from this Saturday's upcoming new release. It is the 2nd Halloween release for us this year, but in my opinion there can never be too many Halloween images! Stay tuned all week as the newly expanded design team showcases Lindsay's amazing artwork!

Sassy Studio Designs will also have some fabulous sponsorships to tell you about in October. Today we are sponsoring Sunday Sketch & Stamp. So if you want a chance to win some SSD images, come play along!

I followed the fun sketch and opted to stay with a monochromatic color scheme. The various shades of olive I selected seemed right to me for a divine diva with writhing tresses! Card stock is from Stampin' Up and I once again used my DCWV Blossom Song pad. This collection is filled with gorgeous, glittery patterns! Medusa is colored with my usual mix of Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. A flourish from a Sizzix die and some Michaels Recollections flowers are my main embellishments plus a few adhesive pearls and pearl-topped pins.

Be sure to stop by the Sassy Studio Designs blog every day this week to see what the design team has conjured up for you! We also hope you'll join us for all the release day festivities on Saturday! We'll have a blog hop, a challenge, prizes, and a party blog chat with the design team! More details coming soon... Thanks for visiting, and have a wonderful day!

Tickled Pink Stamps Preview Day 3 - Lil Party Pinkette Pippa

Meet Lil Party Pinkette Pippa! She is the third image in the collection from Tickled Pink Stamps to help celebrate their 2nd birthday! Artist Stephanie Corfee has done an amazing job on these sweet, adorable Lil ladies! They are all dressed up and ready to party!

For my card I selected this month's sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces. Sketch 41 has lots of layers and it took me a bit to get it just so, but I think the results were worth the effort. I had a crafty play date last night with my friend Jasmine, and she helped select the lace and metal corner embellishments. *Thanks, Jas!* The card stock is Stampin' Up and the glitter papers are from the Deena's Penny Lane pad from My Mind's Eye. And no card is complete without a sprinkling of flowers and a spattering of pearls!

Please head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see what my lovely, charming, and talented team mates have whipped up for your viewing pleasure! And if you leave a comment there, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a digi version of Pippa for your own self! ;) So what are you waiting for...? Let's get this party started!

Halloween Blog Candy Winner

It's time to announce the winner of this complete set of FOUR unmounted rubber Lil Haunting Pinkette stamps from Tickled Pink Stamps! The collection includes Robot Timmy, Fairy Coraline, Pirate Patrick, and Witch Audrey! Aren't they the sweetest trick or treaters you've ever seen?!?!I'm sorry this is a day late.... Busy crafting schedule got the best of me yesterday! I am surprised that I only had 5 entrants for this fabulous candy, but I guess the Linky tools issues in the beginning messed us up a bit! Well, to those that entered, thank you for sharing your favorite Halloween memories with me! It is my favorite holiday and I think my favorite part was the fabulous home-made costumes my mom would sew for us! I was Santa Claus, a Space Cadet, a red crayon, and a cast of other characters throughout the years! I am looking forward to creating new memories with my son now! I wonder if I can convince my mom she needs to start making costumes again... lol

Anyway, random.org has determined that 5 is the lucky winner so congrats to Kathy Curry! Kathy, please e-mail me to claim your prize, and I'll ask Kellie to send them off to you ASAP!

Thanks again to everyone who participated in my Halloween blog candy and special thanks to Tickled Pink Stamps owner Kellie Winnell for her generous prize donation! Happy Haunting everyone!

Tickled Pink Stamps Preview Day 1 - Lil Party Pinkette Coraline

I'm back with another post as promised! This is to debut to you the FABULOUS new Lil Pinkette collection from Tickled Pink Stamps! There are FOUR brand new, gorgeous images to show you! Today is Day 1 of the previews, and I have Lil Party Pinkette Coraline to show you! Isn't she sweet in her poufy party dress, holding her balloon!? It's October, and I'm still in Halloween mode so I decided it was a Halloween birthday party she is attending. I colored her up with my Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers, using shades of orange and black/gray for her dress. The papers are Stampin' Up and a spook-tacular matstack from DCWV called Ghosts & Goblins. Details include some satin ribbon embellished with a vintage looking button and baker's twine, a creep-tastic flower arrangement, and a bit of black rhinestone bling. The spider web border was made using a Martha Stewart punch. The sketch is from Mojo Monday, (#209) and I've rotated it to accommodate my image.

My card is also for this week's Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge! The theme this week is #40 - ANYTHING GOES! The only requirement is that you use a Tickled Pink Stamps image to participate. These include the following collection found in the TPS online store: Lil Lolitas and Lil Lads, Lil Pinkettes, Pink Pets, and Cherrie.

I'd also like to enter this in the current Digital Tuesday Challenge, which is "We Like To Party". They want to see you link up creations for any kind of celebration (birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday). The only other requirement is that you use a digital element. My image is the digi version.

So please make a visit to both the Tickled Pink Stamps blog and the TPSC blog to see what my teamies have dreamed up for the preview and for the challenge! I am on two teams that are just bursting with creativity and talent so you won't want to miss a single gorgeous creation from these {PINK} ladies!

Thanks again for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous day!

PS I will be back later tonight with a post to announce the winner of my Lil Hauntings Pinkette Halloween blog candy!

Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #93 - Breast Cancer Awareness

Happy Thursday! Wow, this week has gone by quickly! It's almost Friday, and the weekend, and I have big crafty plans! But first it's time for another Dare To Be Sassy Thursday over at Sassy Studio Designs! As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so this week's theme is to create a project in honor of those whose lives have been effected by this disease. We want to see lots of pink! SSD owner/artist Lindsay has some amazing images that are simply perfect for this challenge, and they can be found under the For A Good Cause section of the SSD online store.

I used one of these images - it's entitled Support a Cause. I chose the sketch #114 from Tuesday Morning Sketches as my layout. I opted to make a round easel card out of it. They have an extra little challenge going on this month also in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. If you play along each week AND use pink in your creations (and enter in a maximum of only 2 other challenges) you'll be put into a drawing for a chance to win some blog candy from them!

The image was colored with Copics and Prismacolor Art Markers. Papers are Stampin' Up and Me & My Big Ideas. I added my typical embellishments - flowers and some pearl flourishes. The antique brad is from Stampin' Up and is used to prop the easel open. I also punched some greenery with my Martha Stewart branch punch.

You'll want to pop over to the Sassy Studio Designs blog to see what some of my design team mates have created for this challenge as well. You have all week to join the challenge. You don't need to use a SSD image to play along, but we love to see them. Also we select our guest designers from the DTBST entries. If you'd like to be our GDT for November, use a SSD image and put "GDT" after your name when you link your project! Easy enough, right?

Thanks for visiting and I'll be back shortly with a combined Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Pinkette preview/Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges card!

The Corrosive Challenge #134 - Purple Passion

Good afternoon all! Sorry for the late post! It has been a busy crafting week for me! Then there was work, the housework I think about doing, but rarely get to, oh and running around after a toddler all weekend is quite time consuming as well! lol But here I am again with another post so that I can tell you about the new Corrosive Challenge! It's a new month, October - my favorite one of the year - so that means new sponsors and prizes as well! Let's find out a little about our generous sponsors - and their fabulous prizes - before we get to this fortnight's challenge!

First
, we have Doodle Pantry:

Here is a little blurb from owner/artist Laurie Wilson: "I am honored to be sponsoring the Corrosive Challenge this month! I hope you like the Corrosive team's creations using Doodle Pantry images and are inspired to play along. Doodle Pantry has a variety of image styles and characters and even some templates. I would be honored if you stopped by and grabbed a freebie or two and took a look around the shop."

Doodle Pantry has kindly provided a $15 gift voucher for use in their online shop.

Our second sponsor is
Karen's Doodles:

Karen Johnson has been drawing all of her life. She has worked on the feature film, "Ferngully The Last Rainforest" and has created animations for Disney, Fisher Price, and Mattel. She has illustrated several children's books and is currently teaching animation at a college in Wisconsin. She started Karen's Doodles so she could share her whimsical drawings with crafters from around the world.

Karen's Doodles has generously offered a prize of 3 digi images of choice.

And now on to the challenge.... The theme for this fortnight is "Purple Passion"! We want to see your creations featuring my favorite color PLUS one other color only. My card uses an adorable image from sponsor Doodle Pantry called Birdie Bat! Isn't he cute? My layout is Sketch #41 from Sketches by Carly. I love the pennant banner element! Did I mention that Carly is only 12 years old? Pretty cool, huh? Check her fabulous new sketches every fortnight!

I selected black as my second color. The purple card stock is Lovely Lilac from Stampin' Up, and the designer paper is also from Stampin' Up in the same color. I use the Banner Day die from My Favorite Things for the banner and embellished with Recollections flowers from Michaels.

Pop over to The Corrosive Challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team has created and hope you'll play along! You have two weeks to join in the fun! Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

Pink Ribbon Lil Pinkette Charity

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm here to tell you about a special release from Tickled Pink Stamps. This is Charity, a Pink Ribbon Lil Pinkette. She will be available in the Tickled Pink Stamps online store as of October 4th. She's only going to be available for a limited time, and for the month of October she will just be $1, with all proceeds being donated to Pink Ribbon Day. Hope, along with Pink Ribbon Lil Pinkette Hope, who we previewed yesterday, and Lil Lolita Lilith (plus matching sentiments) will all be raising money for this worthy cause.

I've used Sketch #7 (Erica's sketch) from Pink {INK} Sketch Challenges as the layout for my card. I hope you will head over to the TPS blog to see what the other {PINK}ette gals have created for you!

Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous day! Think {PINK}!!!
