Tickled Pink Challenge #21 - 3 Designer Papers

Welcome to another Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge! This week challenge # 21 is to use 3 designer papers on your project. I picked the dots, stripes, & plaids stack from DCWV for my paper. SSS109 from The Sweet Stop provided my layout. And this week it's a sketch with a spin: to make it masculine! I think I've managed to meet that criteria. The card is for one of my co-workers to give her son, who is turning 13 this weekend and eagerly awaiting the event. He has been counting down for weeks she tells me! lol He loves what most teenage boys do - video games, girls, facebook, sports, and music! So I chose Lil Fox Emilio for my image with his hip scarf and ipod in hand, um, paw. The number stickers look like varsity letters which represent his love of sports as well.

It has been a rough week here.... Little to no crafting has been accomplished. This is only the 2nd card I've made this week. I came down with a mild late Spring cold which has really knocked me for loop and even worse, my poor son caught it from me and had a fever of 102 yesterday! I have been home from work for two days and it's been sunny and 80 degrees... just gorgeous outside! And we've been inside on the couch. A sick toddler does not a relaxing day off make! Oh, well. I'm happy to be able to take care of him myself when he doesn't feel well. And even though he is sick, it's still quality time spent with my small man! He is still sleeping (we were up late because he couldn't sleep). His fever finally broke, though, and I'm hoping this means he's recharging so he'll be full of smiles and playfulness like the sweet boy he usually is!

Hope you are all having a good week! Thanks for stopping by!
